Coronavirus: Information on the Subject Libraries

The subject libraries A3, A5, Schloss Ehrenhof and Schloss Schneckenhof (BWL) are open on a restricted basis.

Access to the subject libraries is only possible for all user groups with a valid seat booking and the personal ecUM or library card.

In the Schloss Schneckenhof Library, the use of the special collections reading room and on site consultation are offered as limited InfoCenter services after prior registration by e-mail or phone.

Details

  • Opening hours: Mondays to Sundays from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.
  • Access to the subject libraries is only possible for all user groups with a valid seat booking.
  • In order to allow for contact tracing in case of a coronavirus infection, the ecUM or the library card is used to register the date and time when you enter or leave the library.
  • You may take a break for up to one hour. If you take a longer break, your seat will be given to another user.
  • Within the library there is an obligation to wear medical-grade masks (single-use surgical masks or FFP2/KN95/N95 masks).
  • Access to the printers, photocopiers, scanners and computers at the University Library is limited.
  • Group work is not allowed but you can use a group study room as individual work station.
  • Using the lockers for daytime use is currently not possible. The Schloss Ehrenhof Library can currently only be accessed via the East entrance.
