Arrival by train
From Mannheim central station it takes only a few minutes on foot to the University Library.
Walk straight on from the central station along Kaiserring for about 50 meters. Turn left at the junction into Bismarckstraße. After about 500 meters you will reach the palace, where the library directors, the administration of the University Library and several libraries are located.
For the library locations A3 and A5, keep walking straight on along Bismarckstraße. These library locations are situated on the right hand side.
Arrival by car
The coordinates of Mannheim Palace are 49° 28‘ 58‘‘ north latitude and 8° 27‘ 42‘‘ eastern longitude.
You can find parking spaces at the Uni-Mensa Schloss car park (Bismarckstraße 12), for instance.
From the South or North
By car you reach us via the A6, exit Mannheim Mitte. At the planetarium, keep left and follow the sign leading to the university. Once you have passed the central station, you are on Bismarckstraße. It passes right in front of the palace, where the library directors, the administration of the University Library and several libraries are located.
From the West
Change from the A6 to the A61 leading to Ludwigshafen. At the Ludwigshafen interchange, take the A650 leading to Ludwigshafen/
Mannheim Palace is situated on Bismarckstraße, where the library directors, the administration of the University Library and several libraries are located.
