Mannheim University Library, in collaboration with the University of Mannheim’s Equal Opportunity Officer, is presenting the exhibition “Women in the Resistance Against National Socialism” at the Central Lending Library.
The exhibition offers insights into the lives and work of women who stood up against injustice and oppression under National Socialism. It profiles eighteen women who helped Jewish citizens, obtained forged documents, organized acts of resistance, or distributed leaflets. The exhibition showcases prominent and lesser-known women from all social groups and political camps. It illustrates the multifaceted nature of the resistance and the significance its history still holds for us today.
The exhibition is open daily during the library's opening hours.
