Available Seats
How does the traffic light display for seat occupancy come about?
In the subject libraries, WIFI usage is continuously evaluated on site. The current oppucancy rate of a subject library is calculated based on these values. This calculation also includes counting the number of visitors present by the staff.
The traffic light display provides a realistic representation of the current occupancy rate of a subject library. It does not, however, provide exact data on how many people are currently in a subject library and how many free seats are currently available.
Seats that are not occupied but are reserved by break discs can not be included in this calculation of seat occupancy.
